Scala Open Afternoon

A very big Thank You to all those residents who attended the open afternoon for the New Scala Development yesterday 22nd March, and also a big Thank You to all those who decided to become a member of the Friends of the Scala.

The Project as you may know by now is well underway with the building being demolished to make way for the new building (a sad time but the future of the new Scala has begun.) Anyone who might be interested in becoming a member of the Friends or who would like to put there name down as a trustee for the new Charity can contact us via the website or by Mail and we will gladly pass on your details and make sure you get a information pack.

The voluntary Job description for the Friends is now in the process of being drawn up and will be posted on here the minute its is finished, watch this space.

Christmas name the bear – competition winner!

Congratulations to Mrs Pat Peplow from Portsmouth who correctly named the Christmas bear with the name Wooly, Pat travelled all the way from Portsmouth to our Christmas meal to show her support for the cause, and the bear will now travel to a little girl from Prestatyn as promised if Pat won. Well done Pat you have made a little girl very happy.
