We would like to thank the Councillors who represent Prestatyn, for their support in our campaign to re-open the New Scala Cinema, Arts Centre, Live Theatre and Café Bar.
As a group we would like to visualise working together with our Councillors, in order to realise the hopes and dreams of the Prestatyn residents and visitors and look forward to the reopening of a facility that will be used by ALL groups of ALL ages. The finished product will have a Cinema, Arts Centre and Live Theatre, Conference Facilities, Meeting Rooms and a Café Bar. It will once again become the hub of Prestatyn’s High Street.
The Scala site is the most important part of the regeneration of the town. We are now asking residents, visitors and user groups from the town and surrounding areas to support us by fund raising. This has to be a community effort, not just by the adults but also the schools and user groups.
Let`s not forget our teenagers, they will have the ideas and usually unique ways to raise money!
