Description originally posted by Daniel Graham-Jones (Friends of the Scala):

In this picture you can see the right hand side wall at the back of the building (as if looking from the High Street). This would become the back of stage wall and house the second screen/studio theatre with 150 retractable seats. The wall itself will host the fixed screen on with tabs. Studio theatre side blacks etc. lighting will be on winches for accessability to lower them down to change gels and lamps, with the lighting gallery and projector to the back on the 3rd floor balcony type room with access to both studio theatre/second screen and the main cinema purpose screen.

Theatre get-in situated to the left of the picture where you can see the day light with full loading access from Church Lane for lorries, also to the left of the picture on the back wall, what on the plans was the film drop off room, which was no longer needed as the cinema will be fully digitally projected so this will now become the theatre store.

To the right, just out of shot, is the stage get on leading to green room and dressing rooms, all fitted with showering facilities.
