A little confused?
Here are a few frequently asked questions (FAQ) about making a donation:
I want to become a Friends of the Scala Member. Do I have to make a donation?
Not if you don't want to! You can still complete the form to join us without making a donation. However donations are most welcome and will help us to continue campaigning to get the Scala rebuilt.
How much should I donate?
That's up to you! There is no minimum amount or limit. Whatever you feel you can afford.
Is it safe to donate online or with PayPal?
Yes. We use the secure, quick and easy PayPal service to process payments. Each PayPal transaction involves cutting-edge security and fraud protection. Your transaction details are not shared with us and you will receive a confirmation e-mail at the end of the process for your records.
Do you receive all of my donation?
PayPal take a small commission on each transaction, which is subtracted as a percentage from your donation.
Do I have to have a PayPal account?
No. You are asked at the start of the process if you have an existing PayPal account. If so, you can use it to make a donation. If not, you can use any popular Credit or Debit card. A PayPal account is purely optional and they are very useful.

Thank you for considering a voluntary donation to The Friends of the Scala Arts Centre. We continue to thrive on limited funds which is why we are busy fundraising, to continue to raise awareness and support Prestatyn's much loved Scala cinema.
The process is quick, easy and secure. You can make donation payments to us via PayPal, using any popular Credit or Debit Card even if you don't have a PayPal account. If you have an existing PayPal account, you can transfer money directly just as easily.
